ASHLEY & GABBIE
Last night Ashley, along with the rest of the Green Valley High School Girls' tennis team qualified to go to the State Tennis Tournament in Reno, NV on Oct. 23, 24, and 25th! It was so exciting to be there and watch these girls play their hearts out! It's been 7 long years since they have gone to the state tournament. It all came down to a tie between Silverado High School and Green Valley. Then it was one more round of tie breaker matches to see which school would represent the region. Unlike Utah, only one school gets to go per region, so it's a big deal! It turned cool here and the girls played under the lights at the beautiful Red Rock Country Club. They had to miss their own Homecoming Parade and football game back in Green Valley.....but, from the looks on their faces and the noise level after the match.....it was all worth it! Way to go Green Valley High School! What a fun year for Ash to be on the team!!!

Mom, I'm sad I wasn't there last night, but thanks for the update. Ash, no wonder they made it to State this year... you're now on the team! COngratulations! I love you! GO GV!
Good Job Ashley!!! We wish we could have been there to watch. Hope you have fun at Homecoming tonight!
